I am currently a WWF Adria volunteer based on Lastovo Island. The Lastovo Islands Nature Park covers 46 islands, islets, cliffs and ridges. The Island is made up of a rich cultural and historical heritage - but we must not forget the local population as proof that the coexistence of nature and man is possible with a developed ecological consciousness.
